Abstract
The article examines the cultural foundations of the formation of legal concepts of the Modern Age through the prism of their cultural dimensions and the peculiarities of the interpretation of law as a socio-cultural phenomenon. The relevance of the study is due to the growing interest in interdisciplinary analysis of law, which allows us to consider legal ideas not only as the result of normative thinking, but as a manifestation of broader cultural processes that were formed in the European intellectual tradition of the Modern Age. The article aims to carry out a comparative analysis of the legal concepts of this period and determine their cultural dimensions that influenced the formation of modern legal understanding. The study used methods of comparative analysis, historical and philosophical generalization, cultural approach and conceptual analysis, which allowed us to reveal the peculiarities of the formation of legal ideas in the context of socio-cultural transformations of the Modern Age. The analysis showed that the legal concepts of this era were formed under the influence of changes in philosophy, political thought and social values. It is established that the cultural dimensions of law are manifested through the interaction of legal norms with moral, religious and political factors of the development of society. Particular attention is paid to approaches to measuring and interpreting the cultural dimensions of legal concepts, which allows for a deeper understanding of the evolution of the ideas of natural law, social contract and principles of freedom and justice. The results of the study showed that the cultural foundations of modern law are multidimensional and are determined by a combination of philosophical, political and social factors. Comparative analysis made it possible to identify common features and differences between different concepts of law, as well as to determine their influence on the formation of modern legal culture. The conclusions establish that the cultural approach to the study of law expands the methodological possibilities of legal research and contributes to a deeper understanding of the socio-cultural nature of legal institutions and ideas.
