CULTURAL ASPECTS OF TRAINING FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN THE TOURISM INDUSTRY

Abstract

The article analyzes the theoretical aspects of the cultural approach in teaching disciplines to students of tourism specialties. The use of cultural studies methods in the study of individual subjects is analyzed from the point of view of the formation of professional, research and behavioral qualities of future specialists in the tourism industry, their influence on self-development, as a necessary component of successful personal growth and achievement of internal potential. It is emphasized that the cultural aspects of tourist activity occupy a central position in the formation and understanding of travel among future specialists in the tourism industry as a complex phenomenon that includes interaction between tourists and host cultures. These aspects should determine the way in which tourists, with the help of a tour guide, perceive, interact and adapt to various cultural contexts. It is noted that one of the key components of the cultural aspect for specialists in the tourism industry is the study of the history, traditions, art and specifics of the cultures of the places they plan to visit together with tourists, the study of the ethnic characteristics and socio-cultural context of the visited regions. The cultural approach in the training of future specialists in the tourism industry is also aimed at fostering an understanding of the impact of tourism on cultural heritage and the preservation of traditions. A description of the cultural principle of education as a methodological approach aimed at understanding and integrating cultural aspects in the education process is provided. This principle emphasizes the need to take into account the diversity of cultures, histories and values to enrich students' knowledge and develop their critical thinking. The author emphasizes that the cultural principle of education is based on the knowledge that the cultural environment has a huge impact on the perception and understanding of information. It aims to help students discover the diversity of the world, interact with other cultures and understand the meaning of cultural differences. The successful integration of cultural aspects into the education strategy of students of tourism specialties contributes to the sustainable development and maintenance of cultural diversity in the conditions of increasing mobility and globalization.
