Abstract
The article provides a theoretical understanding of the role of creative industries in preserving the cultural heritage of Ukraine and the transmission of cultural values in the context of the transformation of the global cultural space. Based on the analysis of international regulatory legal acts, the domestic legislative framework for the preservation and protection of cultural heritage, and modern humanitarian concepts, it is substantiated that cultural heritage appears not only as an object of preservation, but as a dynamic process of semantic interpretation, in which cultural values play a key role in giving significance to material and intangible manifestations of culture. The focus of the study is creative industries as a strategic tool for preserving, transmitting, and rethinking heritage in the context of globalization, digitalization, cultural hybridization, metamodernism, and the russian-Ukrainian war. Particular attention is paid to the Ukrainian context, marked by a long-standing struggle for cultural subjectivity, which actualizes the need for new managerial, diplomatic, legislative, and creative mechanisms for integrating heritage into modern cultural and creative practices. The analysis is based on transcultural and culturological approaches, typology of industry functions and strategic modeling of their impact on cultural policy. Within the framework of the culturological approach, structural-functional, semiotic, comparative-analytical, and interpretative methods are applied, which allow us to consider cultural heritage as a phenomenon that combines material memory carriers and intangible meanings formed in the process of socio-cultural communication. The methodological distinction between the “objective” and “processual” aspects of heritage allows us to identify the mechanisms of its actualization in the creative industries, as well as to determine the role of cultural values as a semantic framework of heredity, identity, and humanitarian sustainability. The proposed theoretical and methodological model, which combines universal laws of the functioning of creative industries with local cultural landmarks, allows us to consider cultural heritage as a resource for humanitarian development, national identity, and creative industries, considering universal laws of cultural dynamics. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the conceptualization of the relationship between cultural heritage and cultural values in the ecosystem of creative industries, the integration of cultural heritage into the model of creative industries, through the prism of the actualization of the Ukrainian context in conditions of war and cultural hybridization.
