Abstract

This paper focuses on contemporary methods for digitizing room administration in the hospitality industry, emphasizing the incorporation of smart technologies into hotel operations. The objective of this research is to thoroughly examine how intelligent room administration systems function within the Smart Hotel framework and to ascertain their effect on operational effectiveness, financial outcomes, and guest experience. Throughout the scientific investigation, both general and specific methodologies were employed, including analysis and synthesis, theoretical generalization, systemic and comparative perspectives, economic appraisal, and SWOT analysis, enabling a complete examination of intelligent room administration systems within the Smart Hotel concept. The article investigates the core and development of the Smart Hotel idea within the scope of the digital evolution of the hospitality sector. Academic methods for employing intelligent systems (PMS, IoT, AI, CRM) in room coordination are consolidated and organized. The principal components and structure of the smart room management system in a hotel are pinpointed. The methods of intelligent room administration are studied, specifically: automatic room assignment; demand prediction; AI-driven pricing; synergy with revenue management; streamlining of operational tasks (housekeeping, upkeep). The influence of Smart Hotel solutions on the hotel enterprise's effectiveness was evaluated employing key metrics (ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy Rate, GOPPAR). The structural, financial, and technical outcomes of incorporating intelligent systems in hotels were pinpointed. The primary obstacles and difficulties of deploying Smart Hotels in Ukraine were examined, encompassing financial, human resources, and technical considerations. A comparative study of conventional and smart room management approaches was performed. An author's analytical appraisal (SWOT analysis) of implementing Smart Hotel solutions was formulated.
