Interaction between the publishing house, authors, editorial board and reviewers is based on the principles of academic integrity, objectivity in the peer review process and prioritization of scientific quality. The editorial board adheres to the principles set out in the "Code of Conduct and Best Practices for Journal Editors" developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The publishing ethics of the publishing house includes:
- compliance with legislation on copyright and related rights;
- ensuring correct citation of information sources when using ideas, developments, statements or information of other authors;
- control over the use of artificial intelligence exclusively within the framework of current legislation;
- providing reliable information about the methodology, research results and sources of data used;
- objective assessment of scientific research results;
- responsibility of the authors for the accuracy of the content of the publication, including facts, quotes, names and other data.
In case of violations of academic integrity, the submitted manuscripts are withdrawn from consideration, and the authors are informed about the reasons for such a decision. Authors should also indicate possible conflicts of interest that may affect the evaluation, interpretation or review of their research.
Responsibilities of the editorial board:
- taking measures to comply with ethical standards in scientific publications;
- making decisions on the publication of articles based on their scientific value, originality, relevance for readers and compliance with the subject of the publication, regardless of the personal characteristics of the authors;
- prevention of conflicts of interest that may affect the conclusions of reviewers;
- ensuring confidentiality and independence of reviewing;
- prompt response to complaints related to published materials and the application of measures to restore violated copyrights.
Information about a conflict of interest is disclosed only with the consent of the authors and the editor-in-chief.
