Abstract

The article examines the role of transformational leadership in promoting organizational innovation, which is particularly relevant in the context of rapid changes in the business environment. Innovative leadership is becoming critically important for enabling organizations to adapt to dynamic conditions, stimulate creativity, and develop new strategies for growth. The aim of the study is to identify the fundamentals of innovative leadership, analyze the key tasks performed by innovative leaders, and develop strategies for cultivating the necessary leadership qualities. Methodology of the study: the research is based on general scientific methods, including analysis, synthesis, descriptive, and comparative approaches. Academic literature was reviewed, and the case method was used to study successful examples of innovative leadership, allowing for the identification of effective strategies for implementing innovative changes in organizations. The findings of the study demonstrate that innovative leadership is a critical factor in creating conditions that foster creativity, open exchange of ideas, and team involvement in decision-making processes. It has been determined that the primary tasks of an innovative leader include supporting creative potential, promoting an innovation-driven culture, enhancing organizational culture, and minimizing risks associated with innovation projects. The study highlights the importance of cross-functional collaboration and the efficient use of resources to achieve strategic goals. The development of innovative leadership qualities can be achieved through a systematic approach to self-improvement, continuous learning in the field of technology, and the cultivation of a culture of openness and mutual trust. Innovative leaders must initiate change, create long-term strategies, and ensure the sustainability of innovation activities, enabling organizations to adapt to modern challenges and maintain their competitiveness.
