Abstract
This article explores how international bodies aid in resolving present-day global conflicts. The importance of this study is in the need to build a dependable system for conflict resolution and peace promotion, which facilitates the development of novel strategies for international collaboration. The core problems are a lack of collaboration amongst organizations, procedural bureaucracy, feeble institutions in some areas, and insufficient mechanisms for preventive diplomacy. The goal is to understand the role of international bodies in settling current international conflicts, to evaluate their efficacy in executing peacekeeping, humanitarian and security tasks, and to suggest ways to improve their performance in tackling current worldwide challenges. The study employs diverse research methods, like comparative and historical analysis, synthesis and a systematic technique. A thorough examination of global organizations involved in resolving contemporary conflicts is presented, underlining the considerable contribution of each body to the maintenance of peace and stability. It is acknowledged that international bodies have a significant influence on conflict resolution via various influence mechanisms. The legal foundation for the involvement of international bodies in peacekeeping missions is studied. It is observed that the involvement of international organizations in peacekeeping processes is founded on a collection of legal mechanisms that govern their actions in armed conflict and in the post-conflict period: international treaties, resolutions, conventions, as well as the charters of organizations that define their powers and stipulations. The main spheres of influence of international organizations are outlined, clarifying how the global community resolves disputes, identifying the most helpful tools and occasions when their use is crucial. The function of notable international organizations in modern conflicts is proven. The challenges and possibilities of global organizations are highlighted. The piece examines the central areas of progress and novel strategies for enhancing the efforts of international organizations in contemporary conflicts. The author concludes that determining the role of international organizations within the scope of modern international conflicts allows assessing the effectiveness of current mechanisms for addressing international crises and armed conflicts, pinpointing key areas of their operations, and enhancing the ability of individual states, including Ukraine, to work efficiently with international structures.
