Abstract
The article examines the institutionalization of partnership relations in agribusiness in the European context as a set of legal, organizational, and managerial mechanisms that coordinate actors’ interests within the agri-food chain, reduce transaction costs, support innovation, and strengthen the resilience of agricultural production. In the European Union, partnership relations have acquired an institutionalized character through recognized organizational forms, regulatory regimes, and instruments of collective action. The European model combines competitive, coordinative, innovative, and sustainability-oriented mechanisms in agribusiness. Its core functional components include supply concentration, marketing coordination, interbranch interaction, knowledge dissemination, innovation support, and the alignment of private and public interests. The European context is considered a reference point for improving the institutional foundations of partnership relations in Ukrainian agribusiness under conditions of European integration. Adapting these approaches can contribute to higher competitiveness of the agricultural sector, stronger organizational capacity, and closer alignment with EU regulatory practices.
