Abstract
The article analyzes the relevance of integrating art into the teaching of philosophical disciplines as a component of the modernization of modern humanitarian education. In the context of competency-based and interdisciplinary approaches, which are increasingly being implemented in the European educational space, there is a growing need for methods that not only transfer knowledge, but also form critical thinking, emotional intelligence and value orientations of students. Literature, cinema and painting not only illustrate philosophical ideas, but also contribute to a deeper understanding of moral, worldview and existential problems, opening new paths to the formation of a humanitarian culture of the individual. The purpose of the study is to identify the pedagogical potential of art as a tool for teaching philosophical disciplines and to develop methodological approaches to its effective application in the conditions of modern higher education. The study found that the involvement of artistic means in teaching philosophy performs several important didactic functions – illustrative, motivational, heuristic and educational. Examples of the use of literary texts (philosophical dialogues, fiction, parables), cinematographic materials (fiction and documentary films), and visual works (paintings, graphics) within the educational process were considered. Forms of organizing educational activities were characterized, including: discussions, essays, role-playing games, “virtual galleries” and film seminars. It is proven that the use of art deepens the understanding of philosophical concepts, stimulates interpretive and critical thinking, increases the level of educational motivation and forms the ability to value analysis of cultural phenomena. The conclusions are drawn that the integration of art into the teaching of philosophy is an effective means of forming cognitive, emotional and axiological competencies of education seekers. The “philosophy through art” approach provides an understanding of complex concepts through artistic images, bringing theoretical knowledge closer to the personal experience of students. The prospects for further research are noted, in particular, empirical verification of the developed models taking into account digital learning formats, academic specialization and levels of training of higher education seekers.
