METAPHYSICAL FOUNDATIONS AS A CONSTITUTIVE FACTOR OF A MODERN PHILOSOPHICAL SYSTEM IN THE CONTEXT OF THE INFORMATIONAL ONTOLOGY OF THE CREATOR

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to introduce the concept of metaphysical foundations into contemporary philosophical discourse as a constitutive element of a modern philosophical system. Special attention is given to substantiating the idea of the informational ontology of the Creator, which interprets reality as an ordered semantic system, grounded in a transcendent rational origin. The research methodology integrates classical metaphysical reasoning, philosophical ontology, axiology, the philosophy of information (L. Floridi), as well as theological arguments and elements of the theory of intelligent design. The study applies a system-structural approach, hermeneutic analysis, and comparative philosophical interpretation. The scientific novelty lies in the philosophical rethinking of four basic metaphysical foundations – God, language, ethnicity, and the state – as both ontological constants and potential axiological entities. It is argued that these foundations can function not only as sources of values, but also as values in themselves – terminal or instrumental – depending on their axiological status, following the classification of Milton Rokeach. Special attention is devoted to the philosophical and ontological justification for the existence of God as the Creator of an informationally structured cosmos. In our view, God exists because everything around us – from a person to a cell or an atom – is information. And information is a product of the mind, because knowledge is a postulate of the mind, which cannot come from nothing, and therefore presupposes the presence of a transcendent source – the Mind, or Creator, as the original. This position supports the idea that the rational and meaningful nature of reality cannot be explained without reference to a higher ontological principle. The study shows that metaphysical foundations – understood as ontological and axiological structures – play a decisive role in the constitution of human existence and cultural meaning. God is viewed as the rational origin of being, language as a medium of value and sense, ethnicity as the carrier of collective identity, and the state as both a guarantor of rights and a bearer of sacred political order. Within the framework of informational ontology, these foundations offer a coherent philosophical model capable of resisting the relativism and fragmentation of postmodern thought.
