Abstract
The article examines the current problems of digital transformation of the energy sector, in particular the challenges of modernizing management, introducing innovative technologies, ensuring cybersecurity, and harmonizing state policy. The aim is to substantiate the role and significance of digital transformation in managing the state's energy sector to increase the efficiency of public administration and strengthen energy security. The study is aimed at finding ways to improve the mechanisms of public management of the state's energy sector through the introduction of digital technologies. The study uses such methods as analysis and synthesis for theoretical generalization of scientific approaches, a systems method, as well as structural-functional and institutional approaches to assess state policy mechanisms in the fuel and energy complex. The article considers the relevance of the problem of digital transformation in the energy sector. The peculiarities of the functioning of the fuel and energy complex as an object of state policy and public administration are studied. The main processes of digitalization in the energy sector are systematized. The impact of digitalization on the efficiency of energy production, distribution and consumption is determined. The emphasis is placed on the role of the state in the formation and implementation of the policy of digital transformation of the energy sector. The current mechanisms of public management of digitalization of the energy sector are analyzed. Strategic documents and priorities of state policy in the energy sector are determined. The prospects for the development of digital transformation of the energy sector and its impact on the sustainability of national security are indicated. Ways of improving state policy and public administration instruments to increase the level of energy security in the conditions of digital transformation are proposed. The conclusions state that the introduction of digital technologies into the energy sector management system is a prerequisite for increasing its sustainability, competitiveness and compliance with modern requirements of sustainable development. Further research should be aimed at developing innovative digital solutions for energy sector management, analyzing their impact on energy efficiency and security, and creating adaptive models of state policy in the field of sustainable development.
