Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the psychological resilience of teams and leaders in the context of protracted crises and the justification of management mechanisms for its formation and support as a key factor in ensuring organizational effectiveness in conditions of chronic uncertainty. Special attention is paid to the implementation of systemic management tools for the development of psychological resilience, in particular, the integration of programs to support the mental well-being of personnel, the development of the emotional intelligence of managers, the formation of a culture of psychological safety and the construction of effective internal communications. The need to institutionalize these mechanisms within the framework of the general strategy of anti-crisis management is justified in order to ensure long-term adaptability and stability of organizations. The research aims to theoretically support the nature of psychological fortitude in leaders and groups within the management framework and to devise academic and practical suggestions for cultivating and sustaining its appropriate degree during prolonged adversities to guarantee organizational proficiency, flexibility, and the strategic steadiness of the firm. During the scholarly inquiry, general scientific techniques of understanding were employed, notably: examination and combination; inference and conclusion; generalization and specification; contrasting; systematic methodology; structural-functional review; and simulation. The advance of academic perspectives on grasping mental toughness in the domain of management and related areas is reviewed. The foundational components of an executive's inner strength are pinpointed, and their impact on the caliber of managerial decisions. The elements for group cohesion are explored, notably the role of trust, emotional safety, unity, and proficient interaction in bolstering organizational performance. Management strategies boosting psychological resilience are set forth, ensuring enduring flexibility for the team during drawn-out hardships. Actionable advice to leaders regarding the cultivation of robust teams and preserving individual mental capability amid prolonged uncertainty is offered.
