Abstract

In the current conditions of martial law in Ukraine, the wage policy of trade enterprises is significantly influenced by both internal and external factors. The loss of stability in the economic environment, disruption of logistics chains, the need to maintain staff motivation, and ensuring the social stability of employees increase the role of adapting wage policy to crisis conditions. The aim of the research is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations and practical recommendations for improving the wage policy of Ukrainian trade enterprises to increase the efficiency of their distribution systems under martial law. The study uses a comprehensive approach, which includes methods of system analysis, statistical modeling, comparative analysis, as well as expert assessments. Economic and mathematical modeling was used to analyze the impact of wage policy on the functioning of distribution systems. The study found that a flexible wage policy, which includes bonuses for performing tasks in crisis conditions, risk compensation, as well as the introduction of flexible work schedules, contributes to increasing the efficiency of distribution systems. It was determined that optimizing labor costs without reducing employee motivation is a key factor for reducing product delivery time and increasing customer satisfaction. The research showed that social guarantees and stable wages are important for ensuring staff loyalty and minimizing staff turnover. The implementation of adaptive approaches to wages allows trade enterprises to maintain high efficiency of distribution systems even in conditions of significant uncertainty. The developed recommendations are aimed at ensuring a balance between economic efficiency and social stability of enterprises. Further research should focus on analyzing the impact of digitalization of wage management processes and studying international experience in optimizing distribution systems in crisis conditions.
