Abstract
The tourism industry is positioned as particularly vulnerable to changes in the socio-political, socio-economic and environmental environments, which creates additional risks for its functioning and sustainable development. This creates the need to develop long-term, effective and stable mechanisms for interaction between the state, business, local authorities and the public. The purpose of the article is to analyze priority adaptation strategies for the recovery and development of sustainable tourism in the crisis and post-crisis period. The study substantiates that the key vector of strategic management in the tourism industry in times of crisis should be the integration of regeneration models that ensure functional and organizational interaction of stakeholders to achieve tourism sustainability, its greening, reducing environmental impact in a prolonged context, and developing and implementing recovery and development programs. The most influential factors in the context of sustainable development of the tourism industry are determined. Key models for the recovery and development of sustainable tourism are proposed, taking into account the level of destruction of destinations and the dynamics of industry development indicators in crisis conditions. It is proven that among the priority strategic guidelines for the regeneration and development of tourism in Ukraine, the following should prevail: the expansion of the ecological infrastructure of tourist services, the formation of sustainable competitive advantages, the digitization of solutions for maximum socialization and increased marketing efficiency, the development of investment project activities, the promotion of "green" brands abroad, and the improvement of institutional and regulatory support. It is substantiated that increasing the efficiency of the tourism sector should be ensured through the implementation of a strategic approach to planning, which takes into account the forecasting of industry development, the integration of the potential of innovative technologies to strengthen competitive advantages in the international tourism market, and the implementation of European standards.
