Abstract

The article is devoted to developing a methodological approach for analyzing the external environment of enterprise business models under the conditions of multifactor and turbulent development of the global economy. In today’s competitive environment, formation occurs under the cumulative influence of digitalization, globalization, the transition to sustainable development, exogenous shocks of war, and post-pandemic transformations. Intertwining, these processes create a new configuration of challenges and opportunities. The aim of the study is to create an integrated multidimensional analysis model capable of providing a systematic assessment of the impact of key groups of factors on the formation, adaptation, and scaling of business models. The proposed model covers four interrelated dimensions: institutional, resource, behavioral, and systemic-network. Each is represented by a set of measurable indicators with clearly defined data sources. The methodological basis includes a structural-analytical approach, conceptual modeling, and indicator analysis. The logic behind selecting the dimensions and indicators is substantiated, and potential applications of the model in strategic diagnostics and in assessing the adaptive capacity of business models are defined. The advantage of the proposed approach lies in its ability to combine academic depth with practical applicability, making it an effective tool for both research and managerial decision-making in the field of business model transformation. The proposed approach can serve as a tool for shaping entrepreneurship support policies, preparing analytical reviews, and as a basis for further empirical research in cross-sectoral and international contexts.
