Abstract
This article explores internal and external interaction within the public administration system as a key factor in effectiveness and development. The study aims to examine internal and external interactions within the public administration system, assess their impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of public authorities, and develop recommendations for improving interaction mechanisms to enhance the quality of public administration. The essence and features of internal interaction between different levels of government, public authorities, and officials, as well as external interaction with citizens, civil society institutions, businesses, and international organizations, are considered. The importance of effective interaction for ensuring unity and coherence in the work of the public administration system, improving the quality of life of citizens, achieving sustainable development, and strengthening democratic institutions is analyzed. Ways to improve internal and external interaction are proposed, in particular, through the development of legislation, strengthening institutional capacity, ensuring openness and transparency, and expanding partnership and cooperation. Public administration is a complex mechanism that contains many interconnected elements. The effectiveness of its functioning largely depends on well-established interactions both within the system and outside it. This interaction ensures the effectiveness of public administration, improving the quality of life of citizens, sustainable development, and strengthening democratic institutions. Key aspects of internal interaction are a clear delineation of powers and responsibilities, effective information exchange, coordination of the activities of authorities, and the creation of control mechanisms. External interaction encompasses relations with citizens, businesses, the media, and international organizations, contributing to the development of democratic processes and Ukraine's integration into the world community. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to improve legislation, develop institutional capacity, ensure openness and transparency, and develop partnerships and cooperation. Effective public administration and successful development of the country can be ensured only with a comprehensive and systematic approach to the development of internal and external interaction.
