Abstract
Active social development leads to the transformation of mechanisms, approaches and tools for regional management of socio-economic development. The potential of digital upgrades is of particular importance, contributing to the establishment of public-private interaction, the implementation of new e-government areas, and an increase in transparency and openness within public administration. The purpose of the article is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the mechanisms for managing the socio-economic development of territories in the context of prioritizing sustainable development of communities, identifying the main challenges, and exploring ways to address them. The study examines the main modern approaches to the management of united territorial communities (UTCs) and the vectority of their practical application in the socio-economic sphere – stimulating the development of strategic sectors of the economy, attracting investors, increasing regional competitiveness, and integrating public-private partnership projects. The main components of the mechanisms for the economic and social development of a territorial community are highlighted. The significance of the concept of corporate social responsibility for increasing the competitiveness of territories, supporting regional initiatives and raising public awareness of the principles of sustainable development is substantiated. It is substantiated that the digital transformation of the management of socio-economic development of territories should be aimed at the implementation of e-governance through electronic interaction between the state, the public and business, which provides favourable conditions for increasing resource support for regional initiatives, increasing investment, and expanding the potential for economic diversification. The article proves that the key management approach to the socio-economic development of territories in the context of sustainable growth should currently be a comprehensive combination of economic growth and improving the standard of living of the population, which includes the development of production and new technologies, as well as solving social problems.
