Abstract
Trends in the global economic system are changing dramatically, which is primarily due to local military conflicts. It is impossible to consider trends in the development of Ukraine’s economic security without taking into account threats that arise in the external environment. This article analyzes corporate security in Ukraine during the war. The essence of the concepts of sectoral corporate security is revealed. The nature of economic violations is studied. An interpretation of corporate security is given. The study substantiates that sectoral economic security is a state of protection of a specific sphere of social production (for example, mechanical engineering, energy, agricultural or transport sectors) from internal and external threats, which ensures its stable functioning, efficient use of resources, continuous innovative and technological development and high competitiveness in the domestic and world markets. It is established that in the general security hierarchy, it occupies an intermediate place (mesolevel): it is subordinated to the national economic security of the state (macrolevel), but at the same time acts as an integral basis for the security of individual enterprises in this industry (microlevel). It is proven that security should be considered as a multifaceted category: it is the basic need of the system for uninterrupted functioning, its specific state and internal property. At the same time, it is a purposeful activity of structural units to neutralize threats, a special vector of managerial thinking, an element of corporate culture, as well as a synergy of science and the practical art of management. It is proven that the safe state and security of the system are a direct consequence of security-oriented management, the development of internal culture and the implementation of specialized functions. It is substantiated that the effectiveness of this toolkit is determined both by the architecture of the security system itself (personnel competence, technical, legal and resource support), and by the general state of the socio-economic environment, primarily its financial component, which outlines the fundamental content of security and the field of activity of its subjects.
