RISKS IN THE ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES OF DOMESTIC IT SERVICE COMPANIES IN WARTIME CONDITIONS

Abstract

The article analyzes the modern state of the Ukrainian market of service IT companies and problems they are currently facing, along with their activities to reduce the existing risks. Most attention is given to the disclosure and analysis of financial risks in the activities of national IT service companies. The purpose of the study is to identify the key problems faced by service IT companies, highlight the main ways to mitigate them, and suggest ways to solve them. In the course of the scientific study, general scientific methods of cognition were used, in particular, analysis of literature and other sources, comparison, generalization, and a systematic approach. Data collection included the study of market trends and analysis of scientific sources. The results of the study show that over the past three years, service IT companies have constantly faced numerous risks in their activities, which are associated with both the difficult situation both in Ukrainian and the global IT services markets, and are constantly adapting to the difficult conditions of the economic environment, implementing a set of measures that service IT companies implement to minimize and eliminate them. The use of various tools to minimize the above risks allows them to continue business activities even in today's difficult conditions in both domestic and global markets. It has been studied that the risks in the activity are currently associated with both the difficult situation in Ukraine and the global market. In particular, one of the main external risks over the past year has been the rapid development of artificial intelligence tools and the possibility of the replacement of some software developers by them. The main internal risks include the unpredictable state tax policy, an insufficient number of qualified labor resources in Ukraine and the constant outflow of young labor resources, mainly young adults. Companies are actively implementing comprehensive measures to minimize or even eliminate these risks, and each time they are looking for all possible ways to improve their own economic activities. It is shown that these measures contribute to increasing the flexibility of the business, its financial stability and minimizing the negative impact on the economic activities of the above risks, but unfortunately, it is impossible to eliminate their negative impact.
