Abstract

Logistics is an integral component of the supply chain and a determining factor in the system of planning and coordination of the movement of goods, finance and information. The efficiency of logistics processes determines the quality and speed of delivery, minimizes costs, and increases the company's competitiveness in the market. The study is devoted to the analysis of the potential of optimizing logistics processes to improve the supply chain system of an enterprise. The issue is considered relevant in the context of trends in the dynamics of modern business operations. The research methodology employed general scientific methods, including analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization, and formalization, which enabled the identification of cause-and-effect relationships, the consolidation of theoretical and scientific data, the delineation of key criteria and definitions, the recognition of the most influential factors, the formulation of overarching conclusions, and the development of recommendations for optimizing logistical processes within the company's supply and distribution system. The article determines the role of logistics optimization in the context of the commercial success of companies. The main problems and challenges faced by the supply chain system of a modern enterprise are outlined. The need for effective solutions in logistics to improve financial performance and operational efficiency is substantiated. The potential of innovative technologies in the context of optimizing the management of sales and supply processes and reducing transportation costs is determined. The results of the study demonstrate the importance of integrating sustainable logistics practices based on the principles of corporate social responsibility. The article proves that optimization of logistics processes contributes to increasing the profitability and competitiveness of companies. Optimization of logistics processes helps to reduce overall logistics costs, which is achieved by optimizing transportation, reducing inventory, and managing supply. The expediency of integrating modern information systems and technological achievements, adherence to the principles of corporate social responsibility and development of strategic partnerships with key suppliers is substantiated.
