Abstract
The article analyzes the methodological and organizational foundations of the modern quality control and assurance system in the hospitality industry. The purpose of the study is to highlight the modern standards of the system of quality control and assurance in the field of tourism and hospitality. In the course of the research, the author used such general scientific methods as the analytical method to analyze the State standards in the field of quality assurance of products and services; the systematic method to determine the main elements of the quality management system and their interconnection and to identify the key factors affecting the level of service and competitiveness of hospitality enterprises. During the study, the author identified the main factors that affect the level of service in the hospitality business. It is established that to improve the quality-of-service provision and increase competitiveness, it is necessary to improve the state of the material and technical base, maintain the professionalism and competence of the service staff, and constantly improve the quality of service. The study considers state quality standards for the tourism and hospitality sector, such as DSTU ISO 10002:2019 Quality Management. Customer satisfaction. Guidelines for handling complaints in organizations, DSTU ISO 22483:2022 Tourism and related services. Hotels. Requirements for services, DSTU ISO 18513:2024 Tourism services. Hotels and other tourist accommodation facilities. It is emphasized that to provide professional services to customers, all tourism and hospitality enterprises must comply with these quality standards. The study found that the key role in the tourism and hospitality sector is played by the staff and the way they perform their duties. In particular, this applies to the process of organizing hotel accommodation. The author has developed and presented the entire process of organizing hotel accommodation. Risks that may arise in this process have been identified and preventive measures have been proposed that will help to get rid of these risks.
