Abstract

The article examines Ukrainian ethnic traditions of a healthy lifestyle, analyzes the Cossack methods of health care. The concept of “health” and the factors of a healthy lifestyle are defined based on Ukrainian ethnic traditions, in particular the traditions of the Zaporizhzhya Cossacks. Ukrainian folk proverbs about health and a healthy lifestyle were studied. Determined on the basis of this combination in the Ukrainian tradition of physical and spiritual factors of health. The considered concept of “Cossack health” in the understanding of ideal human health. The concept of “Cossack physical education” was introduced based on the practice of Cossack pedagogy. The concept of “Cossack longevity” as a quality factor of a healthy lifestyle in the Ukrainian tradition was studied. Emphasis is placed on a modern example of longevity and a comprehensive approach to creating a health care system based on a combination of Urrainian cossacs traditions and modern technologies and methods, particularly on the modern example of Japan. Considered issues of Cossack pedagogy in combination with modernity in the context of the formation of a healthy life based on ethnic traditions. The proposed a system of preserving health, which consists of seven factors and has worldview Ukrainian Cossack sources. Factors affecting human health are determined, and the relationship between the factors is established. Types of health are defined: physical, physiological, mental, energy, spiritual, social, family. The proposed innovation in defining the understanding of “human energy health”, “energy anatomy”, demarcated concepts of physical and physiological health. The proposed scheme with the shown interrelationship of human health factors. The conceptual apparatus of types of human health is defined. The historical aspects of the use of health factors in the life of the Zaporizhzhya Cossacks are considered, as an example of ethnic traditions of health preservation, and the modern use of ethnic traditions to preserve the health of a modern person at the conceptual level is proposed. Conclusions and recommendations are made regarding the use of ethnic traditions in the modern civilizational development of society. The proposed seven-factor system of health and development can be used at the current stage of the development of society, as a system of health protection and harmonious development of man and society in modern civilization.
